In order to reduce the construction period, the risk and the cost as well as the environmental requirements, the steel composite beams often adopt special erection methods such as sliding and hoisting or a combination of the two. The proposed installation speed is certainly an advantage compared to prestressed concrete bridges and provides a total of five examples of composite beam bridges.
