上海电力学院是中央与上海市共建的、以上海市管理为主的全日制普通高等院校。学校分别在杨浦区和浦东新区设有2个校区,占地面积近1200亩。目前,共有全日制研究生、本科生、留学生等1.2万多人。学校设有12个二级学院,2个直属教学部。学校现有能源与动力工程、电气工程及其自动化、自动化、环境工程、管理科学与工程等38个本科专业,在动力工程及工程热物理、电气工程、化学工程与技术3个一级学科共23个二级学科可以独立招收和培养学术型硕士研究生,在4个硕士专业学位授权点独立招收和培养专业学位硕士研究生。学校共有包括“国家杰出青年科学基金获得者”、
Shanghai Electric Power University is the Central and Shanghai co-founded to Shanghai management-based full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning.
