In 2009, the Tibet Autonomous Regional People’s Congress decided to set March 28 each year as the anniversary of the liberation of millions of serfs in Tibet. On the eve of the 8th anniversary of the liberation of millions of serfs, the documentary “Abolitionist” has aroused widespread repercussions among the various ethnic groups and national audiences in Tibet.
