南水北调中线工程是一项特大型水利工程,它的建成将大大改善供水区生态环境和投资环境,推动我国中部地区的经济发展。南水北调中线工程属于明渠开挖,挖方量远远大于回填量,存在着大量的弃土需要弃土场来堆放,寻找符合工程实际需要和满足水土保持和环境保护要求的弃土场是工程能否顺利进行施工的前提和要求。也是关系到总干渠沿线城市社会经济长远发展和人民群众生产生活的重要问题。
