南美白对虾具有繁殖周期长,对营养需求低,生长快,适应性强,抗病能力强等优点,其最大的特点是广盐性,能在海淡水中生长,是解决目前海水病毒性虾病的一个重要养殖品种。笔者于近年在平潭县中楼乡原养鳖场淡水池中进行南美白对虾的兑淡试养。现将试验情况介绍如下:
