“八一”建军节前夕,笔者偶然见到了一件极为珍贵的革命文物:一块浸了汗溃的长方形手绢上,留有毛泽东亲笔题写并署名的“战斗英雄”字样。半个多世纪过去了,这方由毛主席于1947年5月转战陕北时题写的红色手迹,在阳光下依然鲜亮夺目!在那个战火纷飞的年代,毛主席会为谁慷慨挥毫题词表功呢?在陕西省宝鸡市西关一间简陋的民居里,手帕的持有者、今年已64岁的徐惠珍老人平静地讲起了毛主席为他丈夫徐锦才题词的经过。
On the eve of the “August 1” military establishment, I accidentally saw an extremely valuable revolutionary artifact: a piece of rectangular handkerchief soaked in sweat and ultralight, leaving the words “Fighting Heroes” inscribed and signed by Mao Zedong personally. More than half a century has passed since this book was written by the Chairman of the Red Hand in Northern Shaanxi Province in May 1947 and remains brightly lit in the sun. In that war-torn era, Chairman Mao generously gave his inscription In a rudimentary residential area in the west of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, the handkerchief holder, Xu Hui-jen, who is 64 years old this year, spoke calmly about the passage of Chairman Mao’s inscription to his husband, Xu Jincai.
