在中国城市规划学会的领导和支持下,国外城市研究学组于1991年10月23日至25日在西安召开了第三届学术年会.全国18个城市、44个单位的60名代表参加了会议.他们中间有城市规划师、建筑师、地理学家、高校外语教师、社会科学院的研究人员、城市科学研究会及新闻单位的工作人员,充分体现了这次研讨会的多学科性及广泛性,大会共收到35篇论文. 中国城市规划设计研究院顾问陈占祥教授、中国城市规划学会组织委员会的代表、天津城市科学研究会秘书长王作鲲教授以及西安市规划界领导出席了会议并在开幕式讲了话.这次会议是由西安外国语学院人文地理研究所承办的,中国城市规划设计研究院学术情报中心、重庆建工学院城规系、西安城市规划局、陕西省规划院等单位给予了资助. 本届国外城市问题研讨会共两项任务,一是学术交流,二是改组学组,成立中国城市规划学会国外城市规划研究学术委员会.会议期间,还经过与会者的充分讨论,一致通过学术委员会章程并选举了以陈占祥为主任的常务委员会.
Under the leadership and support of the China Urban Planning Society, the Foreign Urban Research Group held its third annual academic conference in Xi’an from October 23 to October 25, 1991. Sixty representatives from 18 cities and 44 units across the country participated in the conference. In the conference, among them are urban planners, architects, geographers, college foreign language teachers, researchers from the Academy of Social Sciences, staff of the Urban Science Research Institute and news agencies, which fully reflects the multidisciplinary nature of the seminar. Extensiveness, the conference received a total of 35 papers. Prof. Chen Zhanxiang, Consultant of the China Urban Planning and Design Institute, a representative of the organization committee of the China Urban Planning Society, Professor Wang Zuoyin, Secretary-General of Tianjin Urban Science Research Institute, and leaders of Xi’an City Planning attended the meeting and The opening ceremony gave a speech. The conference was organized by Institute of Humanities and Geography of Xi’an International Studies University, Academic Information Center of China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, Urban Planning Department of Chongqing College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Xi’an Urban Planning Bureau, Shaanxi Provincial Planning Institute and other units. Funding was provided. This session of the Overseas Cities Symposium has two tasks: one is academic exchange, and the other is reorganization group. Academic Council on National Institute of City Planning and Urban Planning. During the meeting, participants also been fully discussed, the Academic Council unanimously adopted constitution and elected to Chen Zhanxiang director of the Standing Committee.
