Inflammatory reaction is one of the important mechanisms of ischemic brain injury. Excessive inflammatory immune response can aggravate the degree of brain injury. As an important part of the innate immune system, Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) activates the innate immune system and releases a large amount of pro-inflammatory cytokines through its recognition of its specific ligand Cp G-DNA, Inflammatory reaction to bloody brain injury. In recent years, some scholars have proposed TLR9 as a new target of ischemic preconditioning, that is, through activating the TLR9 signal transduction pathway to increase the levels of inflammatory cytokines in vivo to combat ischemic injury. This review summarizes recent research progress on the inflammatory response mediated by TLR9 signaling pathway and ischemic brain injury, and provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of ischemic brain injury with clinical safety and efficiency.
