农民工的福祉是中国社会全面进步和稳定和谐之关键所在,然而农民工权益保护现状令人堪忧:其工资待遇、劳动保护、社会保障以及维权方面存在严重问题,我们必须正视这些不尽人意之处,挖掘背后的深层次原因,继而求得解决问题之对策,尤其注重以富有人文价值的法律手段来保障当代中国农民工的合法权益。
