A study of blood pressure in 118 workers exposed to lead and 108 workers in the control group found that when blood lead was 44.26 μg / dL, systolic blood pressure was significantly higher in lead exposed workers than in controls. Group study found that systolic blood pressure in the dose-response relationship between the trend in the blood lead 30.20μg / dL, systolic blood pressure was significantly higher than the control group. Multivariate stepwise regression analysis found that after controlling for some other factors that affect blood pressure, lead levels in lead exposed workers were dose-response dependent both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
