为了培育健壮的蔬菜秧苗,减轻病害发生,向菜农推荐几种简便易行的种子处理方法。 一、热水浸种。将晾晒过的种子放入50—55℃的水中,浸种10—15分钟(水温降低时加热水),然后取出放入冷水中,整个过程要不断搅拌,使种子均匀受热。 二、沸水烫种。将种子装入纱布袋中,放入85—100℃的水中烫一下,拿出后立即用冷水冲洗,反复进行3—4次,此法适用于种皮较厚的瓜类种子。 三、白酒浸种。种子、白酒和水的重量比为2:1:1。先把白酒和水混合,再把种子放进去浸种10分钟,捞出后即可催芽播种。此法可提高种子的发芽率和发芽势。
