在国外的经历使我体会到,中国强盛,中国人才能有尊严,中国衰弱,中国人就永远也逃脱不了被歧视的阴影。中国人的命运和中国的国运紧紧相连,必须坚定地爱国。“我不是中国人,我有英国国籍”最近遭遇了一件令我很苦恼的事,是关于爱不爱国的。我和几位香港朋友讨论特首普选的事,他们支持香港公民提名制,我支持必须由提名委员会把关,因为决不能让不爱国的反华人士上台,结果争执不下,几乎不欢而散。
Experiences abroad have made me realize that while China is strong, Chinese people can have dignity. When China is weak, Chinese people can never escape the shadow of discrimination. The fate of the Chinese people is inextricably linked with the fortunes of China and must be firmly patriotic. “I am not Chinese, I have British citizenship ” Recently encountered one thing I am very distressed about love is not patriotic. I have discussed with some Hong Kong friends about the election of Chief Executive by universal suffrage. They support the nominating system of Hong Kong citizens. I support the proposal that the nomination committee must take the control. Since anti-China activists who are not patriotic are allowed to step down from office, their contention is almost discouraged.
