在小学英语的教学当中,大部分教师的侧重点在于培养学生的英语基础能力,例如音标识别、简单句子编写、简单口语表述等等。为了应对考试,教师比较看重学生的日常练习,学生在被动的反复练习当中掌握单词、语法规则,对于某个语法知识一遍又一遍地进行重复记忆。对于英语,大部分小学生可能并没有任何学习兴趣,也不理解英语课程究竟是怎样的一种存在。因此,教师需要开拓学生的英语思维,让学生学会利用英语进行交流,而更加丰富的英语内容,需要学生学会自主进行课外阅读,从文段阅读当中加强自身对英语知识的理解与创造,主动地运用英语思维,提升英语能力。本文将探讨如何在小学英语教学中培养学生的课外阅读能力,帮助学生有效提升英语综合能力。
In the teaching of primary English, most teachers focus on cultivating students’ English basic ability, such as phonetic recognition, simple sentence writing, simple oral expression and so on. In order to deal with the exam, teachers pay more attention to the students’ daily practice. The students master the words and grammar rules during the passive repetitive exercises, and repeat the memory of grammar knowledge over and over again. For English, most of the primary students may not have any interest in learning, and do not understand what kind of English course is a kind of existence. Therefore, teachers need to develop students’ thinking in English so that students can learn to use English to communicate. Richer English content requires students to learn how to read outside the classroom autonomously, and strengthen their understanding and creation of English knowledge from the textual reading. Use English thinking to improve English ability. This article will explore how to develop students’ extracurricular reading ability in primary English teaching so as to help students effectively improve their English comprehensive ability.
