Since the beginning of the new century, the new media represented by the Internet has witnessed rapid development. In order to accurately grasp the consumption characteristics of television media in urban and rural areas of Henan Province, we selected eight provincial cities of Zhengzhou, Anyang, Sanmenxia, Zhumadian, Nanyang, Puyang, Zhoukou and Luoyang in Henan Province from August to October 2013, Xinzheng and Lin State, Shan County, Zhengyang, Dengzhou, South Lok, Fan County, Yiyang and other 20 counties
