一、试验小区种蔗甘蔗选育种程序中,人工种植大量的小区,既拖延时间又耗费成本。对种植甘蔗的实生苗更是耗费工时。1972年我们为种植小区甘蔗修改了一种老式种植机。该机原是牵引式,改为三点悬挂式,并在机架上附加一个垂直堆苗槽以取代原来的水平堆苗槽,可调式分苗器能把堆苗槽分隔为20个可变隔种室,不同品种种苗的分隔是在苗槽连续层之间横置一条蔗茎以隔开。这样,槽内放置若干不同的品种就能适应不同长度的小区。如行长3米的小区,可排列100个品种,整排播幅(排长)占300米,这个工作量在再装种苗之前一次装苗
