娘娘滩,河曲县,三省通衢。当年走西口的先人们就是从这里开始艰辛开拓的。从西口古渡走离山西,回眸第一眼,必定是娘娘滩。这些走西口的铁血汉子们不知道前方是否还有滔滔黄河水,是否还有爱吃的莜面和荞麦,或者每年三月一的桃红李白。只是怀揣着刚毅,用倔强完成简单而又伟大的梦想:成就小康,衣锦还乡,然后迎娶那位含泪送到西口古渡的人面桃花。如今,这一幕永远成为水墨丹青的描述,《走西口》这首歌也因故事而隽永。而娘娘滩,依然静静地守着黄河水,
