王荷波(1882—1927),是中国工人运动的先驱、中国共产党早期领导人之一、第一任中央监察委员会主席。出席党的三大、四大、五大。八七会议上当选为临时中央政治局委员,后任中共中央北方局书记。1927年11月11日在北京被奉系军阀张作霖杀害。王荷波青年时期曾在大连做产业工人历时13年,经历了俄、日本帝国主义殖民统治的苦难,遭受了资本家的剥削压迫,由此而觉醒,萌发反帝反封建的意识。走上革命道路后,1926年3月以全国铁路总工会委员长身份到大连巡视,指导工人运动和党组织建设,在中共大连历史上留下光辉的革命足迹。 Wang Hebo (1882-1927) was a pioneer of the Chinese workers’ movement, one of the early leaders of the Communist Party of China, and the first chairman of the Central Commission of the Central Commission.
