在去年有关中国克隆大熊猫专项首席科学家陈大元教授的克隆大熊猫专项研究工作取得了突破性进展的消息发布后,中国保护大熊猫权威人士和一些著名的研究大熊猫的专家学者对此持不支持态度。他们认为,克隆大熊猫只是个体的复制,不利于物种本身的遗传多样性保护。专家们还认为:正在进行的克隆大熊猫的研究,作为一项科学实验来说是可以理解的,但这仅是一家之言和一家的研究。
Experts from China protecting giant panda and some famous giant pandas did not support this after the news about the breakthrough made in the special research work on cloning giant panda of Professor Chen Dayuan, the chief scientist of the Chinese clone giant panda, last year attitude. They believe that cloning giant panda is only an individual copy, is not conducive to the conservation of genetic diversity of the species itself. Experts also believe that the ongoing research on the cloning of giant pandas is understandable as a scientific experiment, but it is only one statement and one study.
