我想我最好同意林木先生的说法——“让大家来谈谈30年来美术社会影响力的问题,这个想法很好”。不过,“想法”决不应大而空泛,否则很容易沦为伪问题。再者,再好的想法也需要有合适的做法与之相配合才能奏效,这是不需赘言的。涉及“社会影响力”这类属于社会科学范畴的缜密课题,理应以社会调查为前提,以数据资料为支撑,以数量化的理论框架作推导,如此而得到的结论才是值得“谈谈”的。我没有花工夫去做调查工作,现在这样发议论,实在既惶惑又内疚。应该谈什么呢?是美术自身的省视还是它与社会的关系?是美术创作还是美术迁变的形态?是美术家
