《道觋》是《牡丹亭》剧作中的第十七出,以往的评价过低,笔者认为,本出在人物形象塑造、作家文化取向、主题揭示等方面都有重新认识的意义和价值。石道姑是一位被“理”所迫害的悲剧女性,她之所以帮助杜丽娘、柳梦梅二人,是出于同情,而这份同情又是建立在对自身不幸遭际的深刻认识上的。汤显祖在本出中使用《千字文》中的语言有115处,既显示出他对童蒙文化的熟悉与喜爱,也借以反对伦理思想的虚伪与毒害。
Taoism is the seventeenth out of The Peony Pavilion’s play and its past evaluation is too low. In my opinion, the significance and value of this re-cognition in shaping the characters, the writer’s cultural orientation and the theme revealing . Shi Dao-gu was a tragic female who was persecuted by the “Li”. The reason she helped Du-li-niang and Liu Meng-mei out of sympathy, which is based on a deep understanding of her misfortune. Tang Xianzu used 115 words in this book to display the familiarity and affection of Tong Meng culture and against the hypocrisy and poison of ethics.
