Shillingburg et al. And Buchanan et al. Found that the edge voids in the bottom layer of porcelain metal repair increased after heat treatment of the metal. The latter also confirmed that coping was done with a non-precious metal, with a marked increase in edge deformity after venting, possibly due to the formation of oxide on the inside of the inner crown. The authors make inner crowns using three non-precious alloys, Biobond, Unitbond, and Triumph, to determine if their behavior is similar to the metals tested by Buchanan et al. Inner crown of the system to do the baking process, the edge of the gap measurement with Buchanan et al. Eight inner crowns were made for each metal, half of the porcelain powder added, the other half subjected to the same baking process, but no added porcelain powder. The results shown in the table.
