2001年11月29日,是我一生中难忘的日子,我陪同全国人大原副委员长、中国花协名誉会长陈慕华同志参观了杭州花圃。接到任务后,我既高兴又担心,高兴的是,有机会陪同为我国花卉事业做出杰出贡献的陈慕华同志参观,担心的是,怕陈慕华同志提出一些花卉方面深奥的问题,回答不了,怎么办?为此,一方面我查阅了有关资料,做好充分准备;另一方面,我特地请花圃教授级高级工程师徐碧玉一起陪同讲解。作好两手准备,我心里踏实多了。
On November 29, 2001, it was an unforgettable day in my life. I accompanied Comrade Chen Muhua, former vice chairman of the NPC and honorary president of China Flower Association, visited Hangzhou Flower Garden. After receiving the task, I am both happy and worried. I am glad that I have the opportunity to accompany Comrade Chen Muhua, who has made outstanding contributions to the cause of our flower industry, to visit. I am afraid that Comrade Chen Muhua would like to come up with some esoteric questions concerning flowers and flowers. For this purpose, on the one hand, I have consulted the relevant information and made adequate preparations; on the other hand, I specifically asked Prof. Xu Jasper, a professor-level senior engineer at the Flower Garden, to accompany and explain.
