中国金属学会第五次全国会员代表大会于1991年11月9日至11日在北京隆重召开。来自全国各地的代表329人,特邀代表36人,列席代表42人。他们代表了近9万名中国金属学会的会员参加了会议。参加开幕式的领导有冶金部部长戚元靖、中国科协书记处书记刘恕以及冶金部的老领导吕东、袁宝华、唐克、李东冶、高扬文、徐驰、李超、赵岚、马承德、钱传钧、林华等。在开幕式上,中国金属学会第四届常务副理事长陆达致了开幕词。冶金部第一任部长、中国金属学会名誉理事长王鹤寿发来了书面发言,他殷切希望冶金战线上科技工作者同志们要解放思想而又踏踏实实地在研究和实践中大展宏图,要重视自己的力量,在科技领域中不断出新的成果。戚元靖部长讲了话,他希望广大冶金工作者要为我国冶金科技事业作出更大的贡献。中国科协书记处书记刘恕和
The Fifth National Congress of the Chinese Society of Metals was held in Beijing from November 9 to November 11, 1991. 329 delegates from all over the country, 36 invited delegates and 42 delegates. They represented nearly 90,000 Chinese Metal Society members. The leaders of the opening ceremony were Qi Yuanjing, minister of the Ministry of Metallurgy, Liu Shu, secretary of the secretariat of the Association for Science and Technology of China, and Lv Dong, Yuan Baohua, Tang Ke, Li Dongye, Gao Yangwen, Xu Chi, Li Chao and Zhao Lan, Chengde, Qian Chuanjun, Lin Hua and so on. At the opening ceremony, Lu Da, the fourth executive vice president of China Metals Society, delivered an opening speech. Wang Heshou, the first minister of the Ministry of Metallurgy and honorary chairman of the China Metallurgical Society, made a written statement. He sincerely hoped that scientists and technicians in the metallurgical front should emancipate their minds and work steadily to make great achievements in their research and practice. Their own strength, continuous innovation in the field of science and technology achievements.
