1、昭通區少数民族一般情况。昭通區少數民族有苗、回、彝、仲族、民家五個種族,各族人口约计苗族八萬人,回族四萬五千人,彝族三萬人,仲族三千人,民家四千人,昭通区內少數民族一般是雜居的,苗族分佈在全區各地,居住高山,絕大部分为贫僱農,受尽各族地主的壓迫、剝削。彝族散居在各縣中分黑白两种,族内階級壓迫異常顯明,黑彝佔有土地最多,白彝除少數中農外大半是贫僱农,回族比較集中於会、昭、大、魯等縣,中農約佔三分之一,除少數地富階級外,大部是貧僱農,多兼营小生意求生。
