2009年11月,普氏能源资讯(Platts)公布了世界最大的250家能源公司排名,这是该公司连续第8年调查的结果,调查的公司共包括九大类:石油天然气公司、勘探和开发公司、炼油和销售公司、煤炭公司、电力公司、独立的核电公司、天然气利用公司、综合公司和能源运输公司,主要是根据总资产价值、总收入、利润和投资回报率4项指标来综合评判的。调查的数据截至2009年10月1日。
