The 18th International Diesel Engine Conference is scheduled to be held in Tianjin, China from June 5 to June 8, 1989. Meetings reviewed and published by the Review Committee draft published diesel engine papers are as follows: Group 1 with special reference to anti-pollution emissions D-86 medium-speed diesel engine emission and emission control technology (Cros St) D-132 direct injection diesel engine by Active vortexes formed during late combustion to reduce smoke and NO x emissions (T. Marayama) D-102 Spark Ignition Gas Engine Lean Burn Research (WESnyder) D-27 Reducing NO_x Emissions from Medium Speed Diesel Engines (M. Kawakami)
