我国的高山族人口约有50万人,主要聚居在台湾省的山区、东部沿海平原和附属的兰屿岛上,还有4000多人散居在福建、上海、北京等地。长期以来,高山族人民和汉族人民一起披荆斩棘,开发了美丽富饶的宝岛台湾,并共同反抗外来侵略和历代统治阶级的压迫,为共同缔造祖国的历史和文化作出了重要贡献。 There are about 500,000 Gaoshan people in our country, mainly living in the mountains of Taiwan Province, the eastern coastal plain and the affiliated Lan Yu Island, and more than 4,000 people live in places such as Fujian, Shanghai and Beijing.
