数学教育本应是丰富的,但是身处于竞争压力极大的当代,有时学校的数学教育容易走向极端:以追求高分为目的,以知识传输和技巧讲解为抓手,努力提高学生的学业成绩。在枯燥讲解、机械操练中,学生的数学学习变得索然无味,如同嚼蜡。处于这种状态下的人是不会主动学习的,哪怕暂时成绩还不错,但决不会再产生继续发展的后劲。数学不仅仅是一门学科,它更是一种文化,有着丰富的文化内涵。也只有把数学当作文化来对待,通过多种途径充分发挥文化给人的影响力,才能让学生真正认识数学,喜欢数学,学会数学;才能真正发挥数学的育人功能,真正促进学生的可持续发展。因此,弘扬数学文化,是教学实践层面亟待解决的问题。
