Novell,即使从未摸过网络的人,我想也一定不会对这个名字感到陌生。时下,各种Novell培训班,Novell网络讲座充斥耳际。据报道,Novell的支柱产品NetWare和UnixWare在全世界拥有7000万用户,占全球网络操作系统市场份额的67%,在中国市场,虽然还未有准确的统计数据,但据业内人士保守估计,94年Novell产品占网络市场的比例为80%。您一定会感到惊讶,但您可能不知道这样闻名遐迩的公司直到1994年10月,才在中国这诺大市场建立了北京办事处,以前都是由经销商代销产品。在网络蓬勃发展的今天,Novell这一网络巨头在中国这一市场将如何运筹,就此笔者近日采访了Novell中国地区总经理金明先生。
