Overview Hungary is located in Europe, bordering Austria to the west, bordering Yugoslavia to the south, Slovakia to the north, Ukraine and Romania to the east, and currently has a population of about 10.5 million and a land area of 93,000 square kilometers. Chinese teaching in Hungary started in the 1920s when Chinese classes were opened at Roland University in its capital, Budapest. Since the 1960s Chinese language talents trained by our country have served as their Chinese professional leaders.
