本栏目由新东方实用英语学院院长杜子华主持,内容选自《杜子华英语大课堂》,语言和文化的注释使用的是简洁平易的英语,并增加了一些文化知识的讲解。之所以用英文注释,是希望能帮助大家提高用英文进行思维的能力,进而培养良好的英文语感。这个栏目将帮助英语学习者把英语语言学习与了解英语国家的文化、生活、经济、思想、风俗习惯相互融合,从而真正掌握“活”的英语。
This column is chaired by Du Zihua, dean of the New Oriental Practical English Institute. The content is selected from “Du Zihua English Classroom.” Notes on language and culture use concise and easy-to-use English and add some explanation of cultural knowledge. The reason why we use English annotations is to help people improve their ability to think in English so as to foster good English sense. This section will help English learners to truly understand “English” by combining English language learning with understanding of the cultures, life, economy, thoughts, customs and habits of English-speaking countries.
