近年来戏剧创作出现了一批反映人民内部矛盾的作品,引起了群众广泛的注意,为了探讨戏剧如何反映新时期的社会矛盾,如何更好地为四化服务这一新课题,本刊编辑部召开了座谈会,邀请了一些在京的剧作者和评论工作者参加。会议由剧协副主席赵寻同志和本刊主编风子同志主持。在会上发言的有曹禺、张庚、郭汉城、林涵表、周震天、李恍、杨韬、陈刚、邢益勋、赵国庆、王景愚、陈默、徐非光、王正、田芬、曲六乙、李振玉、杜清源等同志。这里发表的是其中一部分发言,有的发言将写成文章以后陆续发表。从这些发言中可以看出与会者对问题的看法,包括对某些剧本的评价并不一致。我们把不同意见发表出来,目的是为了引起更进一步的讨论。我们认为无论是对生活的看法问题或对艺术的处理问题都可以百家争鸣,通过不同意见的争论,从而使问题得到深入一步的探讨和解决,以推动创作的发展。对待有不同意见的作品,更应当允许发表、演出和公开讨论。只要我们坚持解放思想、发扬艺术民主、贯彻“百花齐放、百家争鸣”的方针、放手让人民群众和广大文艺工作者来检验艺术作品,戏剧创作一定会得到繁荣和发展。
In recent years, a number of works reflecting the contradictions among the people have appeared in the dramatic creation, arousing widespread public attention. In order to explore how the drama reflects the social contradictions in the new era and how to better serve the four modernizations, The symposium was held and some dramatists and commentators in Beijing were invited to attend. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Zhao Xun, vice chairman of the drama association, and Feng Zhaogong, chief editor of this magazine. Speaking at the conference were: Cao Yu, Zhang Geng, Guo Hancheng, Lin Han table, Zhou Zhentian, Li Huang, Yang Tao, Chen Gang, Xing Yixun, Zhao Guoqing, Wang Jingyu, Chen Mo, Xu Fangguang, Wang Zheng, Tian Fen, Qu Liuyi, Li Zhenyu, Du Qingyuan et al Comrade. Some of these speeches are published here, and some speeches will be published after the articles are written. From these statements, one can see that participants' opinions on the issue, including the evaluation of some scripts, are not consistent. We put out different opinions for the purpose of arousing further discussion. We think that we can contend for each issue both with regard to life or with the handling of the arts. Through debates of different opinions, the issue can be further explored and resolved in order to promote the development of the creative work. Treat disagreements as much as possible, but should also allow publication, performance and public discussion. As long as we insist on emancipating our minds, promoting art democracy, implementing the policy of “letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend,” letting the masses of the people and the vast numbers of literary and art workers examine works of art, the creation of drama will surely enjoy prosperity and development.
