1994年,我省消防部队在各级党委、政府和公安机关的领导下,坚持以保卫经济建设为中心,以落实《军队基层建设纲要》为重点,一手抓社会消防管理,一手抓部队正规化建设,做出了大量的卓有成效的工作,圆满完成了各项任务,得到了省委、省政府和公安厅领导的充分肯定,同时涌现了一大批先进单位和个人.在这次会议上,湘潭市消防支队等3个“基层建设先进支队”,黔阳消防中队,长沙市南区消防股等4个“基层建设标兵单位”,宁乡消防中队等23个“先进中队”,望城县消防科等25个“先进科股”和21名“勤政廉政先进个人”受到表彰.1995年,全省消防部队要在各级党委、政府和公安机关的领导下,以服从和服务于经济建设为出发点,坚持工作“两手抓”的指导思想,即一手抓执勤,一手抓执法,力争全省消防部队建设和社会化消防工作更上新台阶.
