2011 edition of “primary English Curriculum Standards” proposed: primary stage should reach the second level goal of the grading target. The author conducted a survey on the listening, speaking, reading and writing of English in our school and nearby schools in the form of test papers and found that most of the students lagged far behind their ability to read and write, in which the problem of “writing” The most prominent. In the test, 60% of students were able to listen to, say, recognize words or sentences, but had difficulty in spelling words and writing sentences. Even 10% of students even can not write 26 letters correctly. Of these, 85% of students say they are most afraid of “writing” English in English learning. From this, it seems that in the elementary school stage, “writing” seems to have become one of the biggest challenges for students in English learning.
