笔者近来去过省内一些地方,听到农民普遍谈论一个话题:修族谱。有的地方已修好,有的地方正在筹备、酝酿,有的地方则正在进行。这种族谱不分县界、省界,能联系上的都进行统修,本族在外工作的党政干部、职工、教师等都一个不漏地入谱。有的还跨国越洋,台湾、港澳同胞及海外华侨也被拉入族谱。这种修谱风已刮了两、三年,现在是越刮越大,其声势之大,范围之广,影响之深,是历史上未曾有过的。纵观农村修谱现象,我认为此风不可长,修族谱, Recently, I have been to some places in the province and I heard peasants generally talk about a topic: cultivating genealogies.
