海洋与大气相互作用是近代地球物理学科中发展极为迅速、活跃的重要学科。近几年来,我国海洋和气象学界的研究人员,通过多种可用的手段对湍流尺度、天气尺度和行星尺度的海洋与大气相互作用的研究,证实热带太平洋、西太平洋、印度洋的海洋与大气相互作用对垂直环流和我国天气气候、尤其是短期气候变化的影响,是一个相当重要因素。我国在此领域的研究已有了新的进展,并取得了大量成果。为交流近两年来的学术成果,全国海洋与大气相互作用学术研讨会于1990年9月15—18
The interaction between the ocean and the atmosphere is an extremely important and active subject in modern geophysics.
