目的研究Warthin瘤中微淋巴管密度(MLVD)与肿瘤上皮细胞中血管内皮生长因子C(VEGF-C)的相关性。方法收集1999—2008年内蒙古医学院附属医院和内蒙古自治区医院病理科存档的Warthin瘤病例109例,同时选取多形性腺瘤(PA)、正常涎腺、正常涎腺淋巴结各20例,采用免疫组化法检测各组织标本中VEGF-C和淋巴管内皮透明质酸受体-1(LYVE-1)的表达情况,并通过LYVE-1的表达来计数MLVD。结果 (1)Warthin瘤中MLVD明显高于PA、正常涎腺及其淋巴结(均P<0.01);(2)VEGF-C在Warthin瘤组织中呈强阳性表达,而在PA、正常涎腺组织及其淋巴结中呈弱阳性或阴性表达;(3)Warthin瘤中VEGF-C表达强度与MLVD呈正相关关系。结论 VEGF-C可介导Warthin瘤淋巴管生成。
Objective To investigate the relationship between the lymphatic vessel density (MLVD) in Warthin’s tumor and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) in tumor epithelial cells. Methods A total of 109 cases of Warthin neoplasm deposited in the Hospital Affiliated to Inner Mongolia University and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1999 to 2008 were collected. Twenty cases of pleomorphic adenoma (PA), normal salivary gland, and normal salivary gland lymph node were selected. Immunohistochemistry The expressions of VEGF-C and LYVE-1 in lymphatic vessels were detected by immunohistochemical method and MLVD was counted by the expression of LYVE-1. Results (1) MLVD in Warthin’s tumor was significantly higher than that in PA, normal salivary gland and its lymph nodes (all P <0.01); (2) VEGF-C was strongly positive in Warthin tumor tissue, And its lymph nodes were weakly positive or negative expression; (3) Warthin tumor VEGF-C expression intensity and MLVD was positively correlated. Conclusion VEGF-C can mediate lymphangiogenesis in Warthin’s tumor.
