在学校设置的各门学科中,作文教学与思想品德课的横向联系,应当说是最紧密的。首先,小学语文教师大都兼思想品德课,一身而两任,在操作上易于将两门学科综合贯通。其次,作文教学的基本要求与思想品德教学的基本要求,是直接关联、相辅相成的,有利于教师统一把握。尤其值得一提的是,综观目前使用的教材,这两门各成体系的学科的教学内容水乳交融,内在联系一目了然。这里且以小学五年级教材为例:
