时至今日,尽管新媒体发展突飞猛进,依然未能撼动传统电视的主导地位。调查显示,面对新媒体强势冲击,电视生命力依然旺盛,仍是全世界最有影响力的媒体。就目前来看,电视业赖以发展的观众资源存量基本保持稳定,甚至略有增长。截至2012年,电视媒体的观众规模已达12.8亿,普及率高达98.28%,受众群无论从广度还是深度上都处于绝对领先地位。同时,与其他媒体不同,电视往往是联系家庭生活的纽带,电视传播多方面、深层次地影响着每一个家庭,可以说是影响家庭的媒体。
