The 14th National Congress of the CPC made it clear that the goal of China's economic restructuring is to establish a socialist market economy. This is a tremendous leap in understanding and a major breakthrough in theory. It marks a breakthrough in the development of the socialist economic theory in our country. Comrade Deng Xiaoping played a decisive role in this arduous theory and achieved outstanding achievements.
