本幅叶欣山水,水墨绢本,设色,八开册页,纵25厘米、横18厘米。此画写于顺治十四年(1657)八月。《山水册页》每画各取自然山水小景,或画峰峦楼阁,或写夏山茂林,极富意趣。第一开、春晓。此画以春晓为名,则表现一种万物复苏、生机盎然之景象。近处绘一孤傲的独峰耸立,山石层次分明,纹理整齐排列,节奏感强。巉岩向背有别,质感表现突出。山坡积翠,植被似夹在石凹处,整齐排列。一脉清泉由半山而下,穿过板桥、水榭,汇入溪流,打破湖面宁静。山前有丛树几株,不胜繁密,一副刚刚复苏之意;与隔溪台地上几株挺立的小树交相辉
