功夫故事片是七十年代在香港十分盛行的一种新的故事片样式,通常把它叫做功夫片。就字面而言,“功夫”二字来自广东话,意即练武术。因而功夫片也多为粤语片。实际上,功夫片是在武侠片的基础上,吸收了中国传统的武术技巧以及传统戏曲中的武打动作等,以表现拳斗为主要情节而发展起来的一个新片种,因此具有中国的民族风格。这类影片情节一般较为简单,剧本也不很讲究,而着重表现演员的真功夫。拍摄拳斗场面时,一般都用长镜头跟踪,一气呵成,连贯地把动作拍完整。不象其他片种的影片,惊险一点的场面往往都用特技方法来表现;或是拍摄高难度动作时,找个替身来替代演员的表演。在功 Kung Fu feature film is very popular in Hong Kong in the seventies a new feature film style, usually called it Kung Fu.
