海派油画的发展有着悠久的历史脉络,从“土山湾画馆”的诞生历经数个时期到当代艺术家不断锐意进取对油画肖像形式的探索,包括画界学子纷纷飘洋过海学习和引进西方艺术的早期繁盛,解放后上海美专师生的艺术活动和改革开放时期风潮涌动及时下青年的不懈追求等几个时期150多年来的海派西洋画肖像图式的演进与传承。
The development of Shanghai style oil painting has a long history. From “Tushanwan Painting Museum” after several years of development, contemporary artists continue to forge ahead with exploration of oil painting portraits. The early flourishing of western art, the artistic activities of Shanghai American College teachers and students and the surging trend of reform and opening up after the liberation and the relentless pursuit of youth nowadays, the evolution and inheritance of the portraits of the Western paintings in the past 150 years.
