2000年,赣州市委、市政府作出《关于大力发展旅游经济的决定》,提出了“旅游旺市”的战略部署,并向国家旅游局申报赣州创建“中国优秀旅游城市”。在刚刚闭幕的2004年全国旅游经济工作会上,吴仪副总理将“中国优秀旅游城市”证书颁发给了赣州市。这标志着我市旅游业的发展跨上了一个重要的台阶。在新的一年里,我们必须借势发力、乘势而上,以党的十六届三中全会精神为指针,在“对接长珠闽,建设新赣州”的新一轮发展大潮中,巩固提升“创优”成果,加紧实施“旅游旺市”战略,把赣州真正建设成为长珠闽的“后花园”,把旅游业逐步培育成为推动我市经济、社会发展的支柱产业。
In 2000, Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government made “Decision on Vigorously Developing Tourism Economy” and put forward the strategic deployment of “Vanguard of Tourism” and declared to CNTA the establishment of “China Excellent Tourism City” in Ganzhou. At the just-concluded 2004 National Tourism Economy Work Conference, Vice Premier Wu Yi awarded “Excellent Tourism City of China” to Ganzhou City. This marks the development of our city’s tourism has stepped up an important step. In the new year, we must exert forces and take advantage of the momentum to take the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee as a guideline. In the new round of development tide of “docking Changjiazhu and building a new Ganzhou” Consolidate and enhance the achievements of “excellence”, step up implementation of the strategy of “tourist attraction”, transform Ganzhou into a “back garden” of Changzhu and Minzhu, and gradually develop tourism into a pillar industry that will promote the economic and social development of our city.
