随着科学技术的迅速发展和电子计算机的广泛应用，目前我国特别是发达国家的科研手段不断更新。近10年来，在信息服务领域出现一种新型服务项目，即利用国内外各种数据库和互联网对所研究的主题项目进行快速查新。但许多科研人员还缺乏应用现代检索工具知识和查新意识；包括从事本职工作的查新人员也不具备应有的查新技能和较高的计算机操作水平。甚至有些科研人员还在沿袭传统的信息收集习惯，在科研经费严重不足和时间任务十分紧迫的情况下，仍然走遍全国各地去调研。这种收集资料的方式，往往徒劳无益，事倍功半，不仅会浪费有限的资金和时间，而且会降低科研水平，延缓科技成果的转化速度．为此本文重点就当前表业科研课题立项后如何利用查新检索先进手段多出、快出成果和查新人员如何适应时代科技进步要求提高自身素质与查新质量等进行了探讨。
With the rapid development of science and technology and the widespread application of electronic computers, research methods in our country, especially in developed countries, are continuously updated. In the past 10 years, a new type of service project has emerged in the field of information services. That is, a rapid search of the subject matter under research has been carried out using various domestic and foreign databases and the Internet. However, many researchers also lack the knowledge of applying modern search tools and new awareness of search; new search personnel, including those engaged in their own work, also do not possess proper search skills and high levels of computer operation. Even some researchers are still following the traditional habits of information collection. They still go all over the country to conduct research when there is a serious shortage of scientific research funding and time-intensive tasks. This method of collecting information is often futile and cumbersome, which will not only waste limited funds and time, but will also reduce the level of scientific research and slow down the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Therefore, this paper focuses on how to make use of advanced search techniques to find out more about the current scientific research projects and how to find out how to adapt to the requirements of scientific and technological progress of the times to improve their quality and quality.
