十六冶金建设公司十七井巷工程公司建井一、二队职工,在支援武钢金山店铁矿的会战中,坚持以批修整风为纲,学习云锡四队,发扬自力更生、艰苦奋斗的革命精神,大力开展技术革新,在1972年9月份创竖井月成井73.4米纪录之后,又于同年11月份夺得了西风井月成井93.6米的新成绩。金山店铁矿西风井净径5米。井筒通过的岩层为石英二长岩,硬度f为12～14;裂隙发育,局部破碎剧烈,一般较完整;裂隙涌水量为7～8米~3/时;采用混凝土支护,厚度为300毫米;掘进断面为24.6米~2。
