中科院上海生化所在测定对虾病毒的基因DNA部分序列的基础上,建立的对虾病毒PRC(聚合酶链式反应)检测方法,具有很高的灵敏、准确、专一性强的特点,其灵敏度可在0.1微克左右的患病虾组织中检出病毒。中国水产科学研究院东海水产研究所科技人员经3年的“对虾弧菌病病原理及防治技术研究”。从三省一市养殖病虾中分离出53株弧菌,并对其致病性、生物学特性作了研究,表明副溶血弧菌、溶藻弧菌、鳗弧菌、非01群霍乱弧菌是对虾主要常见致病菌。并从21种药物中筛选出10种对对虾弧菌病高度敏感的抗菌药。南美白对虾6年前由中科院海洋所的专家引进后开展一系列的试验研究。获得大批量的育苗成功。南美白对虾是世界三大虾种之一。具有水环境、饵料要求低、全年皆可繁殖,抗病力强、生长期短等特点,是一种开发价值很高的养殖品种。中国水产科学研究院东海水产研
