《英语课程标准》(2011年版)强调:要让学生尝试阅读英语故事及其他英语课外读物,养成按意群阅读的习惯。为此,译林新版《英语》教材中也添加了“Story time”板块。其目的显而易见,旨在通过“Story time”这一故事学习的平台,一方面激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养其创新能力;另一方面帮助学生积累并习得更鲜活、更生动的语汇,有效提高其语言表达
English Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition) emphasizes: To enable students to try to read English stories and other English extracurricular reading, to develop the habit of reading according to group.
