《光明日报》2012年4月12日在“理论·史学”版上刊登了题为《公文纸本:传世文献最后一座待开发的富矿》一文,读后很受启发。作者孙继民、魏琳对“公文纸本”是这样界定的:“所谓公文纸本,在版本学界和目录学界通常称为公文纸印本,也称公牍纸本、文牍纸本、官册纸本等,是古籍刻印本的一种特殊形态,专指宋、元、明时期利用官府废弃的公文档册账簿(包括私人书启等写本)纸背刷印的古籍,亦即古人利用公私废旧纸张背面印刷的古籍印本。不过,笔者认为,对‘公文纸印本’概念的使用还需要有一个补充说明,即除了‘公文纸印本’之外,还应该有‘公文纸抄本’
