交通仿真是支撑智能交通发展、优化城市交通运行的关键技术。我国在交通仿真技术和软件开发方面虽有一定积累,但研发力量分散、技术短板待补,缺乏功能强大且具有完全自主知识产权的仿真应用软件,软件市场长期被国外垄断。同时,基于国外交通环境的国外软件并不完全适合我国国情,在实际应用中存在“水土不服”、决策支持能力差等缺陷。随着道路网、公交网、轨道网等多模式交通网络的协同运行,宏观、中观、微观多尺度交通紧密融合,以及交通领域大数据、移动互联、智能网联等技术的蓬勃发展,给交通仿真系统开发和应用注入了新的内涵。
